Badly Drawn Boy Announces Record Store Day Release

Badly Drawn Boy (Damon Gough) has announced that on Record Store Day (April 16th) he will be releasing a limited edition 7″  instrumental EP entitled, Lost For Words. Well, it made me laugh!

Originally released to commemorate Badly Drawn Boy’s tenth anniversary gig at The Briton’s Protection in Manchester in 2007 (he played his first ever gig there in 1997) it was only available for people at the show. A very limited 200 copies are being reprinted with new (never before seen) artwork from Andy Votel – all in honour of Record Store Day.

Badly Drawn Boy’s It’s What I’m Thinking Part 1: Photographing Snowflakes made it to the #8 spot Stage Door’s 2010 list and is still being spun on a regular basis in 2011. Fantastic record and there is no doubt that Lost For Words will be a worthwhile listen and find for record store enthusiasts.
