Emma Hill & Her Gentlemen Callers, Meet Me At The Moon

Emma Hill & The Gentlemen Callers just released their 2009 sophomore, Clumsy Seduction in Canada at the end of 2010 so, it was surprising to hear their third release so soon. But, the quick follow-up for Canadians means that the evolution of the band is still fresh in our minds.

On Meet Me At The Moon, Emma and her crew stay in touch with their Americana roots while embracing the full-band experience by pulling together classic country sounds that will remind listeners of The Be Good Tanyas and The Western States.

From the folksy swing of the opening title track, to the sweet prairie twang of “All That Might Have Been” and the acoustic-pop flavoured “Let’s Laugh About It” – You are instantly wrapped up in gorgeous arrangements and homegrown country melodies that celebrates looking for love and all the trouble we get ourselves into because of it.
